Skye's background in photography is expansive and began at age five when she received an automatic Fuji camera from her dad, an amateur photographer. Her passion for photographing culminated twenty-five years later when she attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. She received the Departmental Award for Excellence and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2004.
